Ceramic Coating

CERAMIC COATING

Years of paint that holds its shine. From one install.

A ceramic coating is a clear, hard layer that bonds with your clear coat and stays there. Not weeks. Not months. Years. The paint shines brighter, washing the car becomes quick and easy, and bird droppings stop costing you money.

What changes

Three things you notice right away.

Glass-deep gloss on a coated car

Gloss

Black cars go deep black. Reds, blues, silvers get richer. You can spot a coated car from across the parking lot.

Mirror-like reflection on coated paint

Reflection

Reflections sharpen up. Sky, trees, the next car over, all read clearer in the panel. The surface acts more like a mirror and less like paint.

Water beading on coated paint

Water

Coated paint is hydrophobic. Rain stops sheeting, pulls into beads, and rolls right off, taking the dirt with it. Most clients end up washing the car half as often.

Real demo · soap falls right off

Why it matters

The paint stops aging.

Watch what soap does on a coated hood. It doesn't stick. It rolls. That's the same surface bird droppings, tree sap, and road tar land on. None of it bonds. Wipe it off and the paint underneath is untouched.

Washing the car changes too. The grit that grinds into paint with a dirty wash mitt doesn't grab the same way. Swirl marks become a thing of the past.

And if you ever sell the car, this matters. A car that looks new four years in sells like a car that looks new four years in.

Ceramic coating application

The work

Magic happens in the prep.

A coating locks in whatever's underneath it. If swirls are in the paint when we apply it, they're sealed in for years. That's why we don't skip steps.

1

Detailed handwash

Foam bucket, hand wash, iron removal, full decon.

2

Clay bar

Anything still bonded to the paint comes off.

3

Paint correction

Swirls and light scratches polished out. Level of correction depends on the car.

4

Panel wipe

IPA on every panel so the coating bonds to clean paint.

5

Apply by hand

One panel at a time, leveled with microfiber. No spray on shortcuts.

6

Cure + aftercare

We walk you through how to keep it performing for the full lifespan, and you go home with a maintenance brochure.

Ceramic FAQ

Honest answers.

Don't see your question? Text Makoa at (808) 238-7157.

How long does it actually last?

Years, not months. The exact number depends on the package and how the car gets washed after, but a coating we apply with a yearly maintenance wash will easily outlast anything you can put on with a sponge. We'll talk you through the levels when you book.

Do I need paint correction first?

Maybe. The coating locks in whatever's underneath it, so any swirls in the paint when we apply it stay there. Brand new cars usually just need a single stage polish. Older or daily driven cars look dramatically different after a two step correction. We'll tell you straight what your car actually needs.

What does it cost?

Starts at $500. Final number depends on vehicle size and how much correction the paint needs first. Send a couple photos with the quote form and we'll come back with an exact price.

How long does the appointment take?

Most coatings finish in a single day. Some cars take two if they need heavy correction. We don't rush it.

Mobile or at the shop?

Either. We do most ceramics on site at your house or office, but we also do them in house at our shop if that's easier. We bring our own generator; we just need to borrow water from a hose.

How do I wash it after?

Hand wash, two bucket method, soft microfiber. No automatic carwashes. We send you home with a care guide, and we do maintenance washes that keep the coating performing for the full lifespan.

What's the $50 deposit for?

It locks your slot. It comes off the final invoice, not extra cost, just a hold. Balance is paid after the walk around when the car is done.

What if I'm not happy with it?
